With blogging being the all the buzz these days many people [who secretly don’t know what the heck a “Blog” is] are wondering…

Is one software better than another?

Well that depends on what you want to achieve with your blog.

I know, I hate those evasive answers also, but really here’s what I mean.

are more features to consider.

For instance if you will be the person setting it up and maintaining it how steep is the learning curve?

As a business-person using the Internet you will want a software that can be optimized for the search engines. An optimized can be a great source of free search engine traffic, which of course can mean more prospects or sales to your company.

Will the blogging software automatically ping directories and your RSS subscribers to alert them that there is new information posted on your blog?
